Q: What are the points redeemed for?
A: The points are redeemed for IKEA friends cash vouchers only. Every 2,000 points for a
RM10 IKEA friends cash voucher. The cash voucher can only be used at the IKEA store to purchase any of the many
IKEA products.
Q: How do I redeem my IKEA friends points?
A: The principle cardmember needs to bring along the principle card to the IKEA friends counter to redeem their points.
Only the principle cardmember can redeem and sign the redemption slip as redemption is done online.
Q: How many points needed to redeem?
A: Minimum of 2,000 points is needed to redeem for a RM10 IKEA friends cash voucher. If you have less than 2,000 points, you will not be able to redeem your points. Points can be viewed at the top part of your monthly bank statement.
Q: How long is the cash voucher valid for?
A: The IKEA friends cash voucher is valid for 3 months from the date of redemption. It can also be used on the same day of issuance.
Q: What can I buy with IKEA friends cash voucher? Do you have a product catalogue for redemption?
A: We do not fix a particular product for redemption as we allow cardmembers to choose from our range of IKEA products. Just present the cash voucher to the cashier when making payment.
Q: Will the IKEA friends points expire?
A: Yes, the points will expire every 2 years (from the month and year you became a member).
Q: Can I use the IKEA friends cash voucher at the IKEA Food & Beverage outlets?
A: Sorry, the cash voucher can only be used to purchase IKEA products. They cannot be used at any of the IKEA Food & Beverage outlets.
Q: If an IKEA item is priced at RM100 and I only have a RM60 cash voucher, can I buy the item?
A: Yes, just pay the difference of RM40 by cash or credit card at the cashier. You will also need to pass the RM60 IKEA friends cash vouchers to the cashier.
Q: Can the cash vouchers be sent to my mailing address?
A: IKEA Friend cardmembers may only redeem the vouchers in person.
Q: Where do I check my points expiry date and how?
A: You can check your points on the top part of your monthly bank statement or call the Alliance Bank Customer Service Centre 03-5516 9988.
Q: Will I be notified periodically on the expiry of my points?
A: Cardmembers are reminded of the expiry of points in the bank statement and occasionally in other communication materials.
